Looking at extra security and I’ve got a firm fairly local who
can fit this system, it’s the Clifford 330x Motorhome Alarm and before going ahead I’m looking to see if anyone else has used this system.
Any advice welcomed.

I have Clifford alarm, no issues except broken wire. Easily fixed locally.

Hi, Alan, I have had ten motorhomes with Cobra Vodafone alarms and had no problems but my latest has the Clifford.
Awful.
It has a tilt function (that is intended to prevent towing or low-loader theft) but you cannot disable it and it goes off if you are moving around in the van! Useless at night.
(This is different to the volumetric sensors inside the vehicle which are easily disabled ).

IMHO , unless your guy can disable the tilt, steer well clear.

Thanks Ed
Not sure if he can disable that function, I’ll have to check.
Better than finding out later when it’s to late.
