I've been decorating my bathroom but now everything looks so new and clean the state of the Thetford toilet really stands out. It's over 20 years old and the top of the toilet seat and outer has yellowed with age. I've tried all sorts of ways to clean it but nothing works. Anyone got any tips?

I Don't expect you will change the colour of the lid,I expect the pigments in the plastic have deteriorated.
Probably need a new one if you can get one.

the plastic does yellow with uv exposure. A slightly abrasive cream cleaner might help, but avoid bleach

Fresh Up kit is the way to go... about £115 depending on model ..

new cassette and toilet seat ... make sure you order the correct model and right or left

or just a new toilet seat .. £40
