Cleaning grey water drain pipes.

We found DishNTreat very effective
It’s a washing up liquid that keeps pipes and your grey tank sweet

Cheap full fat cola is still the best thing I've found.

I wouldn't risk it, domestic drain cleaners often melt the plastic Motorhome pipes are made of.

We favour the old Coke trick, in fact we poured 4 litres down the plug hole yesterday and today we will swoosh it all about on the 2 hour drive to Glastonbury, has worked for us in the past.

Going by their information on their website, they would seem to be designed to get caught in the sink "S" bend and then rely on the action water passing it to work. We don't have "S" bends on our motorhome so wonder how effective they would be just sat in the bottom of a grey waste tank.

Don't pour greasy water and food particles down your plughole then you shouldn't need to clean them.
I agree. We wipe greasy deposits off plates with a piece of kitchen roll before washing them in order to minimise the amount of grease/fat entering the grey tank.
On returning home after each trip, and after emptying the grey tank (into the drain from our kitchen & bathroom), I pour a litre or two of hot water down each plug hole followed by a capful of Buster Plughole Sanitiser Foaming Granules. Half an hour or so later another litre or two of hot water goes down each plug hole and the grey tank is emptied again. That cleans the pipes and tank and prevents smells from the system, and is "gentle" enough not to cause damage.

Fenwicks drain and pipe cleaner... wonderful stuff, the probes on the waste tank even work after using this stuff :D

The tricky bit is getting it back in the bottle after, waste not want not.
