The plan, currently, is to return from Croatia via the glossglockner pass in June.
We are over 3,500 kgs however, i have a photograph of my V5 with it showing under 3500kgs.
I ll sort that side of things out at the pass.
We intend to attack it from Lienz having travelled through Slovenia and Italy.
My question surrounds the possibility of the Go Box (as we are over 3500) and not wanting to pay anything.
From what i can see we can make Germany on this route without having a need to go on roads that we have to pay for
Am i correct ?

We did the grossknocker last September, coming up thru Italy. Payed class 2 with a smile
(Even though classed over 3500).
Stopped in Zell am see for a couple of nights and managed to get through Austria to Germany with no box.
Probably go back this September, and do it all again. But buy a box this time before we go :)

Excuse my ignorance, but as we're under 3.5 tonnes, do we not need a Go Box and how much is it to go through the pass?

Class 2 ( truck 1) was around €40 I think.

Tasty ! Are they TVRs ?
No, Weismann, made by zee Germans with BMW engines. Sounded ace when they shot past us going down hill.
They looked more impressed that we had a glass of sparkling at the top.
