Citric Acid

Can anyone tell me how much citric acid I need to clean out a 170ltr tank plus what’s in the alde (10ltr)
Does it remove limescale? Cos I’ve a kettle that needs doing

Yes it removes limescale

Think I just put a 1kg bag in mine and left it 48 hours, the tank was like new inside after

It's brilliant at removing limescale, I use it in my kettle.
I thought the recommended dosage was one tablespoon / litre.

Don’t know exactly how much but I do my tank/alde with it and does a great job only thing I would say is after you have used it make sure you clean the little filter in your taps as it does release quite a lot of crap from the alde

It’s brilliant stuff. Cleaned several kettles with the hot dissolved citric, then used that hot citric mix in one of the cassettes too! What a great job it does cleaning the poo box too!

I have a Laika so in your Carthago you will almost certainly have, most probably end of the tap you should be able to just unscrew it by hand
