Nah not really !
I wanted a gauge to show how much LPG I have in my 6Kg Calor gas cylinder - simples I thought . . . So via Amazon I bought a gauge to fit between the cylinder and regulator which arrived within 24hrs - perfect I thought . . . It screws into the cylinder ok (bearing in mind it's a reverse thread)
But uncomfortably crouching down reaching inside the external LPG locker I wondered why it wouldn't connect to the hose from the regulator so I disconnected the hose & sat comfortable in the open - but would you believe the **** thread is not a left hand thread so absolutely no way will it screw on, needless to say I've given it a minimum 1* review and will send it back for a refund.
Why do these infuriating problems always happen to me 😫

This looks like a pressure gauge to me. If so, it won't tell you how much gas is left in the cylinder. That idea doesn't work for liquified gas.

The pressure stays constant almost all the time the gas is being used up. It only starts to reduce once all the liquid has turned to gas and there's only a tiny bit of gas left. It's not like an oxygen cylinder, where if the pressure reduces from 200 bar to 100 bar you have used half the bottle. That's why people use other types of gauge. A float inside the cylinder that moves a magnet to rotate a needle, or an ultrasonic sensing beam on the bottom of the cylinder.

That's exactly the type of gauge we have on our Gaslow/Truma Duo changeover setup. Fortunately, I get a changeover warning on the CBE display panel, so I am never left without a full cylinder. 👍

Cheers,

Jock. :)
