Checking windscreen washer level in a Fiat Ducato?

Hi all. Is it possible to check the windscreen washer level in a 2018 Fiat Ducato? I can find where to add more, but cannot see the actual reservoir to check how much fluid is in there. Manual isn't much help. Thanks!

That new a vehicle there is probably a warning light that will let you know

I just top it up until it overflows. After a while you should be able to guess when it next needs filling just based on usage.

Which is a long winded way of saying I can't see the level on mine.

My vehicle is a Peugeot but very similar to Ducato and its not obvious but you can pull up from the filler neck An extension pipe which helps as you can see the level as it fills up so that You don’t spill any .

I agree it is difficult. I filled mine(DDucato 2003) to overflowing but it failed the MOT for insufficient water on the windscreen.

The problem was that it was not overflowing although appeared so, because there is a removable filter in the filler neck and it only allows a restricted flow through the small holes.

Solution is to take out the filter when filling then fill to top and replace filter.

If it’s like our 2011 the washer bottle is stuffed way down and to the back of the engine bay on the left hand side.
I’ve got a small bottle of neat screen wash and short length of tube and a funnel in the van so I can fill it up more easily.
If the screen wash gets foamy when cleaning the screen it’s probably nearly empty.
We can get nearly 3 litres of wash in ours when empty

Most these days ,like cars, are hidden inside the wing & cannot be seen. Just fill slowly when topping up.

And don't damage the thing as you probably have to remove the wing to get at it.

I have a 2016 and there is no warning light for low level. Just brim it regularly.

Thanks all for comments. Looks like nothing changed between 2016 and 2018. I have never had a vehicle before where the washer reservoir level cannot be seen!

if its that important to you make a dipstick or use a bit of thin hose put finger on the end and remove liquid in tube will be the level
