Never thought about this one prior to travel.
Used gas fill adaptors in France, Germany, etc but not in Spain until yesterday.
Came to top up and could not get a seal on the adaptor to prevent gas leakage so the pump refused to start.
On examination the O ring had split and separated. Inconvenient but not the end of the world as we were on the way to Santander ferry. Would have potentially been a bigger issue if at the start of the holiday and trawling around to find replacements.
Checked the other adaptors, and one of those had also split. New replacements now ordered.
Perhaps some lubrication would have prevented this issue, but a warning to others to have a check and perhaps carry some spares?
