3 years 30,000 miles UK and Europe.. Campsites and off Grid.
I'm getting excited about a few days away in the motorhome ON MY OWN while the wife is on a bell ringing course (as in church tower bells)

Any suggestions?. Don't really want full blown campsite or wild camping. A water tap and maybe black waste might be useful.

Hereford rowing centre, there's a rally there and I noticed at the rally in 2023 you can park up for a small fee. £9 each but I may be wrong.

We’ve stayed there - bit of a car park but very convenient for city centre. There’s a good footpath up the river to get a change of scene. Showers in the rowing club are excellent.

We have stayed there often, one of our favourite spots, facilities are good, dish washing area with plenty of HOT water, ELSAN dump, showers with plenty of HOT water, taps on the way in to top up your tanks, buffet all you can eat breakfast Saturday & Sunday £8.00 (book if it looks busy) market in town weekends.

You can overnight on the St Martins car park, Hereford. Think it was £5 for 24 hours.
We were there back in November, spoke with the warden and she said no problem and advised us to park down on the overflow section.
Easy walk into town and suited us for a 1 night stopover. The rowing club is not far away, when we rallied there in past i asked in the office about just using the Elsan and water facility if we were ever passing. They said no problem and maybe just a small charge.
I understand you can also officially stop up near the Football ground but that was having work done when we last passed it and its further out of town (but closer to a Wetherspoons).

Powys allows overnight stops on some of their car parks, Hay on wye is not far away and one we will try next time.
Have a look on search for sites.
