Is there a drain off plug for the fresh water tank

Sorry, don't know. Our old van didn't have one, so I just used to run the water through the taps into the grey. Gives it a bonus rinse.

Now there’s an introduction……welcome.

Cant help you with the drain plug I’m afraid, but someone will be along shortly with some answers.

Youre now running 2 threads on this, why not combine them as it’ll lead to less confusion for everyone. Also, if you join, you can post pictures which would really help in answering your question.

Hi.
Again sorry I don’t know but I find it hard to believe there is no drain off procedure. On one of my motorhomes it involved opening the inspection cap on the tank and unscrewing the overflow pipe from the bottom of the tank, it was easy to do and part of the design.

If the fresh water tank is located inside under the seats, then look outside, under where the tank is located and usually Chausson have a drain down pipe (probably white). The drain down pipe will have a 'pipe end' stopper which needs to be removed to drain down the tank.

This stopper is push fit and is removed by pulling down on the top ring of the stopper.

It is on the nearside and usually it us a push on cap
I changed mine with a washing machine tap which made it a lot easier
