Chausson Bora 258

A friend just acquired a circa 1990 Chausson Bora 258 on a Fiat chassis (he bought a garden, van was inside and came with). It's been stood in a garden for 7 years so we weren't expecting much but it's dry and with a new starter battery it fired up first go and runs well, gears are good, brakes ok. It could be a bargain if we can get it a CT (same as MOT but in France) and get it registered.

I can find almost nothing about it, trying to find a manual online but nada - will contact Chausson but meanwhile ......

Question 1 - the only tare plate I can find appears to suggest is max permissible weight is 2800Kg which seems odd. Anyone know?

2800kg sounds about right probably not much too it!
