We are still testing how long we can stand the Motorhome without needing to put it on hook up. It has been in its garage for two weeks since we last charged it. That is the best ever as previously two or three days was it’s best, but it has not been locked therefore no alarm taking power.
We are playing with various scenarios, next is to put the CTek charger direct to the engine battery. If we do this do we need to isolate the habitation system first? I have visions of the B2B kicking in and causing more problems.
Thank you in advance.

There are products on the market specifically designed to support the long term health of your vehicle battery, providing a trickle charge to your vehicle battery from your leisure battery. These only really work if the leisure battery is charged from other sources, primarily solar in your use case; obviously not very useful in a garage.

An Ablemail AMT-12 is an example. Also Vanbits do one…

I sometimes put a battery charger directly onto the cab battery and never had a problem with the B2B or anything else
