How long should I expect a fully charged 2 year old AGM leisure battery hold its charge when there is no load at all. i.e. when van is in store. (No alarm etc)
I would appreciate any advice please.

2yrs old and NOT abused - many months Disconnected (just remove from the neg terminal)
If you have been running it down to low voltages and not charging it properly a few days or a week if you are lucky.

AGMs have a self discharge rate of between 1% and 3% per month (according to google).

Thanks Bernie. I unless it is on mains charge in the the van it tends to run down in a week or less. Unfortunately I accidentally left it without charging in the winter of 21/22 for a couple of months. You’ve confirmed what I probably expected that neglecting it has pretty well killed it. I can charge it to about 13.7v on the multimeter on the onboard charger but it tends to run down quickly. Looks like a replacement needed over this winter and treat with tlc. Thanks for the tip about disconnecting the neg. That saves a lot of hassle.

That’s good info Ian. At least I will know what to expect with a properly treated new AGM
