We can't go abroad at all, at the moment due to caring responsibilitys, but when we can it's normally once a year, so although I look for the lowest price, it's not the most important thing

I've just checked for march & ferry price is £92 one way against the £44 I would usually pay. Also 'flexible' price has increased from an additional £20 to £50. Dog is still the same price at£15 each way.
I can understand the price rise as the boat is only allowed to be 50% full.

Op was talking about tunnel, which hasn't risen, ferry's as you say only taking 50% so got to make up somewhere.

Bit dearer going the other way though?? That's before the dog gets added?? & why I never use them.
The same crossing I did the ferry for on March 16th , the tunnel started at 151€ +dog.

June 1st, booked last night £107. If travel still restricted or still not had our jabs we can move departure up to 12 months. So now have something positive to look forward to. Hooray ! we’re off, fingers crossed.

Ive never booked mine more than 5 days ahead and its always been around the £110 mark
Now for 5 days ahead its £140- 150 so by that reckoning it has gone up
