Morning...my Solar Panel is routed via a MPPT controler to charge my one leisure battery, and its efficiency is good, but my Engine battery is lacking charge after being stationary for a couple of weeks,
the battery is 1 year old, I do not have access to 220v where the van is parked....running the van is currently my method of topping up the battery.
Can I route my cables to charge my vehicle battery at the same time as my leisure battery, my vehicle is a Hymer Tramp, with an Electoblok fitted....don't want to fiddle before I ask.

Why not fit a Battery Master or similar device, a lot less faffing about.

Or a voltage controlled split charge relay £15 from ebay. Only works one way round of course but has been working fine charging auxiliary battery on my Land rover for a year or so.

Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........
I second the "battery master" it's fit and forget and takes very little time to hard wire in. I bought mine direct from Eddie and arrived in no time to Spain.

Your MPPT controller may well have the terminals to go to the starter battery in which case it would be pretty easy depending on cable routing, otherwise yes the battery master from Vanbitz or Votronic will do the job and may well be an easier cable routing job (I know mine was).

What type of elektrobloc?
If you have a solar controller able to output to starter as well as leisure often the electrobloc provides an easy way to send that power to the starter battery.

As others have said, you may have the facility on existing controller to charge the vehicle battery - if not, or if it is difficult to connect/wire in - then the Battery Master (discounted for funsters) is a good, easy fit solution

I fitted a battery master (similar) to my US RV, excess charge from the leisure batteries goes to the chassis battery, and it has kept it charged very nicely.
