Hi all Because the horn on my masterline is so poor I have decided to change it with airhorns bt the horn is tucked behind the front grill so I will have to remove the grill to remove and replace the horn I have removed the top two bolts but the grill is still attached somwhere at the lower sides but I cannot see any fixings to remove any suggestions please

We’ve got the B680 and our grill is stuck at bottom with sealing compound, good luck

No, only along the base, gentle leverage and constant pressure, don’t break it as it will be expensive 😳😟🤬
Place the horns as near to the grill, more sound is able to get out, check them outside, as the internal muffleling effect dampens the sound in the cab

Do you have to remove the original? Why not run the new horns in addition to the existing?

Thank you thats a thought the problem is to get at the horn and wiring they are sitting behind the grill will have another look tomorrrow will see if get at the wiring with the grill in situ

Ran a new wire to the pair I got from a Mercede's in the scrappy. Easy to do.

Just make sure the air horn is single tone, if not it could be an MOT fail if the tester is having a bad day.

Do you know if the original horn's wiring and fuse rating is up to running an air horn compressor ? You might have to run another supply wire and a relay ?

Hopefully the air horns should come with a relay.
