Good morning all, can anyone advise me on how I go about changing my leisure battery please. Are there any do’s and don’ts involved. I have a 2019 boxer fairford autosleeper. Cheers

Unlike the starter battery where you can be concerned with so of the engine ECU, there isn't much on the leisure side that is that sensitive. I've never done anything special. Just make sure everything is turned off before you disconnect. Keep the pos and neg leads away from contact with each other or other metalwork. Swap out battery. Reconnect. Power

As Kannon Fodda said, there's nothing much to worry about.

If your new battery is a different capacity or battery chemistry to your old one then you might need to reconfigure your MPPT / B2B / shunt to reflect the new battery details.

Other than that it's pretty much plug and play.

If you have solar, then isolate it or cover the panel as the solar will continue to feed the leisure battery leads, even when the battery is disconnected.

When disconnecting, remove negative first. When connecting, negative last.
