Hi all,

I would love some advice on places we could stay in september, I was thinking Reims and Epernay. Its our 1st time bringing the MH to France, so any advice would be really appreciated.

Cheers everyone,

Gordon

There is a municipal campsite at Epernay on the river. €21
You can cycle along the river (unless you happen to be there the one day of the Triathlon as we were). The town was busier and bigger than we expected and we didn’t really get to see the nice bits once our cycle route was thwarted as the roads were too busy to cycle with the dog.

We had one night there then headed down to Burgundy - around Beaune - we absolutely loved it there and can send you some stopovers if you like.

Some nice Aires on Lac du Der Chantecoq.

If you go on a couple of pages in the thread I've linked to you will see all the lovely ½ timber churches we visited.

There are 2 in reims N49.24475 E4.02702
and N49.25000 E4.02160
the second one is behind a building with a barrier just go to reception and they will lift it for you all services and a short walk into town can be a bit tight though
