Hi all,

Just noticed I put this is the wrong forum
I would love some advice on places we could stay in september, I was thinking Reims and Epernay. Its our 1st time bringing the MH to France, so any advice would be really appreciated.

Cheers everyone,

Gordon

We stayed at Camping Municipal d'Épernay
Not bad site and the reception give good advice for champagne house visits

Épernay has an excellently placed Aire, about 10-15mins walk from main Champagne boulevard. The air is very well kept, and peaceful.
Electric hook up, water, disposal.
About £15 per night.
From memory, about 8 spaces.
Enjoy

Epernay municipal for us too. Easy walk into town and champagne houses. Bars in the town sell champagne by the glass ;)
Pitches at grape harvest time might be at a premium with the pickers there in small tents. Never seen any groups of travelers there - those who follow the grape harvest for work but not been there for two or three years. Train into Reims is a good day out.

Used the newish Aire at Epernay last month. Very nice but only small 6 to 8 pitches. Water waste and bins. 20 minutes into town. We stop there nearly every year its a nice town. Take the petit train tour very informative.

As above. Recommended. Beautiful little Aire. Limited space.
