Chambord and Chenonceau aires recommendations

Hi folks, we’re heading to France in Sept and hopefully will be visiting Chambord and Chenonceau chateau’s, so just looking for any recommendations of campsites or aires within walking distance of those chateau’s if possible, also within walking distance of restaurant’s would be a bonus

You can stay at Chambord theres a dediated motorhom area, there's a restaurant at Chambord.

We stayed at Le Moulin Fort which is about 30mins walk away but there is an Aire right next to the car park at Chenonceaux.

About 10 years ago we stayed at Camping de Moulin Fort here
It is (was??) owned by a British couple, at the time they had bought the place as a bit of a wreck and were doing it up.
We ended up going back twice during a 3 week touring holiday.

It's a 10 min walk to Chenonceau.

There is a camping car park aire at Chenonceaux, we have cycled past it . When we have been in the area we have stayed at the CCP at Blere which is on the outskirts of the town with shops and restaurants and you can cycle to Chenonceaux.

We have stayed at Chambord, just enter as normal and there is a large motorhome aire past the parking for cars. We had a really quiet night there, what a beautiful castle and grounds. The parking is free on showing a blue badge.
