Has anybody got any recommendations for light packable chairs? I’m looking at the Kilos 2.0 or similar so any reviews or recommendations welcome. Thanks.

That sort of chair looks more suitable for back packing.

We went for comfort, with two Isabella items... plus footrest additions.

It really depends on how much storage space you have, weight shouldn’t be an issue.
If you have enough space then look at Isabella or Vango

Helinox sunset chairs.
I had one of these for tent camping, I found it absolutely awful, couldn't lean back 'cos it tipped over, feet sunk into the ground... quite uncomfortable too.

Ended up giving it away..

We had an Isabella chair ( cos £120) was looking for another and found identical ones made by ‘Trail’

The only difference is the teal is 100mm shorter when folded.

Every bit as comfortable and quality wise but half the price, they are even the same materials and colours.

We have two folding aluminium frame chairs, bought in 1996 .. we still use them..

The French company folded, ha ha .. and was bought out by Lafuma who now make the exact same chair.
I can't rate them highly enough .. lightweight , non rust aluminium, batyline material ,quick drying, comfortable and durable .. still in use after 27 years of camping and garden use ..

Not cheap to buy but will outlast anything else on the market..

This year at Jim's..

2kg is very light.

We have Crespo Al 213 Compact which are about the most compact folding recliner you can get, which are nearly 5kg.

We have two Helinox Savannah chairs, which appear similar to the Kilos 2.0, and use them if we are walking or cycling somewhere - beach etc. and they don’t sink in as we have some rubber balls on the feet. If we are static with the MoHo then those Decathlon folding and reclining Comfort chairs fit the bill. They are slightly narrower than the Lafuma models so fit the storage area on the back wall of our garage perfectly.

Been using ours for the past few years never had an issue. If you are going to use them on soft ground then there are ball feet or a mat to stop them sinking. We have never had that problem though & used them recently at Drax where the ground was pretty soft. Never had them tip back either.
Not had our Isabella chairs out yet on the current trip we are on as the sunset chairs are plenty comfortable eniough.
