Hi,we are travelling through France into Spain at the beginning of December ,i was wondering which is better option snow chains or snow socks for the border region in France..this is our 1st trip going this way...any advice welcome .

We live in the foothills of the Pyrenees and frequently visit Spain. Several of the roads we usually use to get over the Pyrenees are likely to demand we carry snow chains this winter. Has anyone had experience of fitting chains or socks to a Hymer? I would hope we never have to use them but not...
