On C&C and C&M certified sites and certified locations is it necessary to be a member in order to stay on these sites or does it mean they are just 'recommended' sites?

Cheers for the info guys......

And often 2 price lists members/non members

They seldom check and usually have more than 5 vans.
The last 3 CLs I’ve used all asked for my membership number when I phoned up to make a booking

CL and CS owners risk having their license revoked by the club(s) if they are found to be admitting non members

Only asked for membership card about half the time. Lots are CL and CS so have ten spaces plus 'that field out the back'.

The pressure is off now as we're heading that way later in the year for a hot air ballon ride and needed something close by...just found a great local pub stop over....!

Often been asked for membership number when booking.

One CL/CS we use regularly is both a CL and a CS and three family members have bits of the land so they can have up to 30 vans - usually only two or three in the winter but can be full in the summer. Each pitch has water, electric and grey water drain but no toilets or showers. Obviously there is black water and rubbish disposal on the site.

We are no longer members of any club, we still use Cs / Cl sites, our motorhome is Spanish registered and never been asked if we are members, sometimes they have their own website or are advertising on https://www.pitchup.com/ . 😎 Bob.

They are allowed 10 tents on site and the field out back is often a rally field.

We stayed in one last weekend and didn't even know it was until we got there. Not members, no one asked, we didn't say anything. £20 for the night inc. Hookup I wouldn't have guessed it was when we booked either.

I'm going to have find out which one of you is right now as a friend who is not a member maybe wanting to join us on a THS.
Sorry billym is, they can stay in a small tent on your pitch or within your unit. They can stay on site but have to join on site.
