Central locking

Hi All
We have a 15 month old Swift Voyages 540 and always has had a slightly unreliable central locking but it seems to be getting worse. I know the points on the door clean but it does not seem to make any difference. The dealership we bought it from is a 2 hour drive away. Any ideas appreciated.

They may be clean but do the contacts touch when the door closes? Seen a few that left the factory badly adjusted

A light touch with some emery paper on all the contacts will do the job, assuming they line up properly. To check alignment use some blutack on the strike surfaces and shut the door, the pins will leave an impression in the blutack…..
