Cheers Jock, it really is a good quality setup which is very easy to use and gives really clear images .. once set on a target it will follow and keep it in view.(y)
I'm sure I could do a special deal for you to treat yourself, or have it as a surprise Christmas present for Rita.

Ha Ha. Nice try Brian  however, we don't have the room in the MH to take it with us. ;)

I'm sure it would make a fantastic Christmas present for someone on FUN though. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

I know exactly what you mean Jim .. I shall be sorry to see it go, but I just don't use it enough since we moved to Norfolk.

Thanks Smiffy(y) .. it's certainly everything needed for somebody starting up in astronomy that doesn't want to spend a couple of thousand and great quality optics all in perfect condition.

I guess you need to be somewhere like Norfolk with out to much light pollution to get the best out of it.

That's what I expected when we were moving up here.
I soon realised I would have no chance of a clear, unpolluted sky view from our new home because of light pollution all around us.:(

I’m sure it’s a lovely bit of kit but did you know that on a clear night, with a mirror on a bent stick, you can see Uranus!
