hi everyone

so after reading this thread

it made to go outside and check the factory fitted mains battery charger on my Rapido, i've come to the conclusion that my onboard charger, this one

does not have a lithium charging profile and i've had 2 x 90ah Super B's on as standard and now got 2 x 280ah Fogstar Drift's

what do you guys n gals think I should do, first off, should I be worried, should I be asking my dealer to replace it under warranty, or should I be not worried at all and get on with it?

Over to you lot

Surprised they didn't fit the CB500LT version if the Super B's were factory fitted - In the short term I would check the setting of the switch in the charger is set appropriately (there is no switch in the LT version) - personally I would choose A which might mean slightly undercharging your batteries at 14.1v, the absorption phase is I think 1.5hrs and float lasts 15hours max before the charger goes into standby - so little chance of overcharging issues. Because I'm nerdy I would probably fit a replacement charger with a lithium setting, but I don't think you're at any risk

Thats good info adrian thanks very much (y)

and you have made to go back to look at the charger and lo and behold it is indeed a CB500LT that is fitted, so all my fears and doubts are unfounded

I'm really pleased I ask on here though so thanks again, have a good weekend
