CBE 12v Lighter for CBE USB Swap

I've got a double panel CBE unit in the van like the one below.

Can I do a straight swap of the Cigar Lighter for another Double USB slot without any messing with wiring and fuses?

Yes, they are modular and any combination will work. The wires are already there, with spade connectors.

Easy enough, just swopping the spade terminals BUT why not use a good quality adaptor and then you have use of it for 12 plug and also the USB's.

Yeh that's the one, popped it on, and realised the other one is playing up any way so swapped them both.
