The window seal on the van was lost during our last trip. So I contact Carthago, they eventually replied, they don't deal with customers.
Advised of a company that does spares, contacted them, with pics of the door and groove for seal.they ask for a pic of the seal. Explained its in SPAIN. They can't help.

Rang UK Carthago dealer, Explained the situation of missing seal, (still on Spain), they ask for a photograph of the seal.

ITS IN BLOODY SPAIN..

The dealer will contact Carthago, who will advisethemand possibly charge an arm and a leg.

Grrrt

Try Chris at Reliance, Chichester they do Carthago warranty work & servicing.

Is he the guy that worked miracles with Hymer spares when he worked for Premier Motorhomes?

Yes, if you can get a word in he is brilliant & he will still get Hymer spares for you if required. :giggle:
The guys that set up Reliance all came from Premier.

Presumably it’s a pic of what your ‘seal-less’ window looks like now?
They, as manufacturers, obviously know what it should look like? Don’t know where your mh is stored in Spain, is there any chance someone there could take the photo for you? 🙂

The seal is having an extended holiday in Spain, the MH is in the UK. 😄

Looks like a standard window seal should be easy to get without paying Carthago an arm & leg.

Another vote for Chris at Reliance. 5 minutes on a phone call and he found out the part number for the floor hatch I needed for my Hymer. The next day he got the price from Hymer, I accepted it and he ordered it.

That was in April this year. Before contacting him I had spoken to Sothdowns who said they would get the information from Hymer and get back to me. Still waiting for them to do so.

Chased them twice when wanting to buy a new Concorde they had in stock, obviously they didn’t like me as no call or email back!!
