You won't go wrong with a Growler. Contact AshVanBitz for advice. They are giving a 15% discount if you order (and pay) before 30th December. After that it is 10% for MH Fun members. Also their Non Starter has a good reputation.

As per the above posts, Vanbits. On another thread I posted that our new MH came with an alarm, tracker, and immobiliser. It is not a patch on the Vanbits we had on our previous MH. I wish I could have prevented the installation.

Morning BnBJwf,
If you are not happy with the one you have installed, we could always remove it and replace it with one of our systems. We do this all the time for our customers who have the same issue.
Food for thought (y)

They have had it back and reprogrammed it. At least it is functioning correctly now, Ash. I do feel financially obliged to give it a chance. The biggest gripe with it now is that there is no external sign that it even has an alarm fitted! It could well end up with a trip down to Taunton.
To you and the Vanbits team. A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Ditto to all the learned folk on this forum. Have a good one!

To save you hours of research.
We looked at all the options (we could not get insurance without and alarm and tracker)

We drove our new MoHo straight from the dealers forecourt 200 miles to VanBitz
(They have a camp site next door)
We walked into Taunton and spent the day shopping for bits for the van; kitchen stuff, bedding etc.
By the end of the day VanBitz had fitted;
  • an engine immobiliser
  • a growler alarm inside and out with extra loop for bikes/deckchairs etc.
  • a tracker (ours came with a factory fitted one we have never activated)
  • A battery master
  • a solar panel
  • a gaslow system
