Castleton Christmas Lights

I have been talking to Paulusthewoodgnome and he has suggested the possibility of a weekend at Castleton to see the Christmas Lights. Anyone interested or know of a suitable camp site.

We've done the Christmas lights quite a few times. We always stop on the CC site because t's within walking distance of the town centre. Unfortunately you'll probably not get a booking now unless it's mid-week, then you might have a chance.
There are plenty of pubs to get a meal or try the Italian restaurant on the right on the way into Castleton.

Just checked the Caravan Club site and, yep it's full. Are there anyother sites close by.

Was in Castleton on Sunday for the day, only 35 minutes drive for us.:thumb:Blackshaw Moor Caravan Club Site, Leek, Staffordshire this has vacancies and is about 25 minutes drive away.

Finally been in the office long enough to call Hardhurst Farm. That have availability for the weekend of 11th / 12th December.
