Hi all,
We're off to Spain for two week over Easter, just wondering if anyone has has any experience of the Castilla y Leon reigeon. Thinking of mainly going to Aires as campsites seem few and far between. Question is, I hear the Spanish quite like Easter so will it be busy?

We have travelled quite a bit in Spain in our moho, (years ago with dogs and older kids but now solo and saner)
Last spring and autumn included Castille and Leon. Aires were great, including quite a number with free water, grey and foul disposal, power and some with showers and wcs.
I can give you more details if you are interested.
In contrast we got scammed by a campsite into paying a ludicrous extra fee for an electric hookup (still smarting!)
But expect Easter to be heaving. Everyone with a tent, camper, barbecue will be out and about,. The prices generally go up to summer levels for the Semana Santa period, but then fall again. Make your plans accordingly - stop early or book.
Regardless - you'll have a great time

Semana Santa is busy, but a lot go to the coast.
Leon is an absolutely must if you want some awesome tapas.

Thanks for your views, we've decided to book a couple of sites for over the weekend just to be sure.

I welcome any ideas for must see place in the region, have a few already. Quite like meandering through small medevil type towns.
I also like castles, found loads of them, but I supose the clue is in the name of the place :ROFLMAO:

We stayed in one municipal motorhome área in the city of León, which had two services points, very convenient.
But there are a few more options.
You must visit the Barrio Húmedo in the old town. You'll enjoy a night of delicious tapas there. Serious stuff 😋

Thanks for this, always good to get real recommendations rather than relying on trip adviser.
