Hey folksssss

If someone has the time would you be OK to cast an eye over my install and let me know if there are any bits I've fudged up, I think I'm all good.

Hookup to mains consumer unit
Chassis earthed and also earthed onto manufaturers earth point on van, 6mm earth cable
16a trip fuses
RCD

Single socket from consumer unit for battery charger, hooked up to battery on left

Battery on left outputs going to a distribution board. 15amp fuse

Battery on left earthed to van body

Second battery hooked up to first battery

Switch coming from distribution board which turns on another switch panel in main cabin of van.

QUESTION
VSR hooked up to van battery and earthed to another point on van body. Can the VSR be hooked up to the battery on the left as well?

If someone has the time to take a look that would be amazing!!

The positive and negative cables should come off different batteries - +ve on one, and -ve on the other.

Thank you so if I take the negative off the first battery that's going to the distribution board and whack it onto the second battery all good.

Yes that's right. It will balance the charging/loads on the batteries better that way. I can't comment on your other questions, but I'm sure others will.

I would add some big in-line fuses to the 12v cables going to the charger and fusebox. Fitted close to the battery terminals.

Thank you, the VSR has a fuse on each cable, I will grab a few inline fuses, I've never seent fuses on battery charging cables, could you tell me what size fuses I would use on the battery to fuse box +ve please and the charger +ve 50amps?
