Good afternoon,
I am looking to replace a very old (yet still working) cascade carver 2g (gas version) with an up to date 12v solar powered water heater (Bobils vans).
The issue I can see is that I will be left with a gapping hole where the old water heater was installed, the new heater does not have any parts requiring exposure outside of the van.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks or know if there's a plastic plate I could purchase to fill the hole? The cut out size is 240mm x 212mm. I could remove the tank off the back of the heater so the face plate and flu cover remain attached and keep the hole covered that way but I'm looking to see if there's a better solution since these old heaters sell for quite a bit in the 2nd hand market!
Thanks everyone!
