Carthago E line 50
Exp
Since 2009.
I have a Carthago E-line and not had much luck this trip. Windscreen cracked, airbag ecu failure and now waterpump not working. The pump is LS 4142 which I think is made by SHUR flow. As a temporary fix, I have linked the micro switch cables. The pump now works bypassing the pressure regulator, so can only turn water on at the control panel when needed. Does anyone know if it is worth removing the micro switches to see if anything is stuck. I did try taping them but no luck. I am in Tarifa Spain so don't know where I could get replacement parts.

have just had the same problem with our pump. We are in Spain , near Malaga, spoke with local company, the have sauced a replacement pump , being fitted Thursday. Ours is a Lilie yellow & white pump

I had an intermittent pump. Turned out to be contacts in switch corroded. I found the part on ebay and had 2 sent to a friend in the UK. He was due to visit where I was in France the following week. I too bridged the spade terminals on the pump and switched on and off on panel. I used a blade fuse as a simple way of joining the spade terminals.
Here is the very part that was in my pump. Easy to change. Note part number but more so the configuration of terminals as they are either on or off when button depressed.
