Carthago silver paint code. (2 Viewers)

I have managed to damage the paintwork on my 2017 Carthago E-line. I was told the paint code was Titanium Silver db 9701 but I have not found anyone who can mix it. I removed the fuel cap so they could scan and mix the paint. This was not even close to the colour required, as can be seen in the attached picture. Anyone no where I can get the correct paint ?

I suspect the fuel flap was not a big enough area to scan properly,our local paint supplier came out and scanned the van,perfect match

I tried ordering online, paint code not recognised. Nu-Agane in Bedford, scan and mix from the fuel flap colour. I should have tested before using, it looks like silver duct tape. Shown in the picture up near the roof. Camper UK services the vehicle and gave me the paint code. They could not supply any paint though.

Hi did you ever find a paint colour for your Carthago. Camper UK gave me the colour code Titanium Silver db 9701. But I can’t seem to find a colour match for it.

They also gave me that code, I never found anyone who could mix it though. I did try getting the fuel filler flap scanned, but the paint was a poor match with the roof.

You may find the fuel flap is made of a different material so will fade different to the body. I know my van has 2 different RAL colours on it.

A decent paint shop will have a spectrometer so will be able to mix paint exactly to match even if it's faded.

Thanks all,

I called into Carthago last week, tied into our Germany/Switzerland tour and they refused to give me the paint code, due to the age!! And I should contact a paint shop. The MH is only 27months from registration, I was slightly disappointed with them but accept paint does fade etc.
