Carthago shower tray

Fellow carthago owners, does your shower try look like the attached pictures? I've not used the shower yet and the old owners never did.

I take it the plastic bottom tray has a lip behind the wall panel to stop water ingress? It doesn't look water tight to me but Im guessing that's by design?

Hymers look similar and I've not had a leak, if there's not an upstand behind the wall panel I'd be very surprised.

The gap may be to allow a bit of expansion and contraction of the walls, but as BusyBuilder said there must be an upstand.
If you use a partially straightened out paper clip you’ll probably be able to feel it through the gap.

As said same as Hymers , just rely on water running into the shower. No upstand panel is just stuck on with strips of thick double sided tape.

Been quoted 10 hours to change my shower panel
