I know I speak for ALL of us at Chester.

Thank you Carol, what you did was way beyond the call of duty.

Found event.
Researched event.
Researched Chester.
Perfect host.
Acted as guide to Chester.

This really was a meet to go down in FUN history. They don't get any better.

Thank you is not enough.

When can we book for next year ?

Thank you Carol, Eddie, Dinah and Brian. It was great :thumb:

Thanks as well to everyone for being as friendly and welcoming as ever (something the miserable old @!**er in the caravan opposite me now could learn from ).

I was surprised by how many Funster 'vans were there...when I got to the security tent to ask for directions to MHFun, I needn't have bothered. You couldn't miss the  flags!

Have a good last night all those still there...and safe journeys tomorrow.

Great meet great venue and great host thanks for making us feel so welcome.
Ged, Julia, Calum & Oliver

A great time with new & old friends. Excellent marshalling (thanks for keeping my cake despite being a day late) :thanks2:

Nearly beat young Katie at pie rolling:Blush:

Got an Easter egg from Movan:thumb:

Enjoyed the 24 mile round trip - only took a month to save for the fuel:Rofl1:

Brilliant weather - again organised by the marshalls.

I can say no more other than to agree with the words of the great :notworthy:Hilldwellers :notworthy:

Never mind the meet, what a great line for FUN adverts, banners etc.

You'll not get £25 subs though.

A big thank you to all the Funsters for helping us with our first Marshalling meet, a special big thank you to Brian & Dinah (Hilldweller) for all the help and support, and Barbara for the brilliant FUN cake she made us. It was a privilege to host it and thank you to everyone joining us. Carol & Eddie.

Thanks

Pleased to know that you appreciated us eating your food and drinking your booze, Carol !

It was great putting faces to names - well, some of them anyway.

Thanks to you and Eddie for your generous hospitality and for hosting a really good rally. Thanks also to your hilldwelling assistants. (Mrs made me very welcome and Mr was not quite as scary as he looks.)

We would like to add a huge thanks to Carol,Eddie,Brian and Dinah. The Chester welcome packs and cycle routes Carol provided were invaluable. We had a fabulous time which was summed up by the security chap who said " you 2 look like a couple of chilled out things, chilling out on a chilledout day"
Look foward to the next Carol Extravaganza!

Now chilling in the drizzle with the Druids:shout:

Well that's me home and lawns mowed. Stopped to pick up cooker top and he has sold out so paid and ordered one now, apparently they regularly get smashed:Doh:

Thanks again Carol & Eddie.:thumb:

We left the rally field at 3:30am, I hope we didn't wake anyone:BigGrin: We had breakfast in the sun 200 miles south of Chester.

Well what can I say, this was a superb meet. Its in an excellent location and Carol and Eddie were great hosts, their local knowledge benefited us all and their smile was infectious. Book us in for next year Carol:BigGrin::thumb:

I have just uploaded 120 photos from this great weekend, Link Removed

You can't deflect all the praise. We all appreciated the support you and Dinah gave to Carol and Eddie. A good team effort, Thanks, it was great:thumb:

We did nothing. This was the magnificent Carol and Ed show. The only Hilldweller contribution was two cakes and one of those was a bit burned. Hopefully the practice will mean the Not_The_Royal_Wedding cakes will be a bit better. I've a feeling this is going to be a mind altering meet, hell we've got a magician, a Fran Bentos fetishist, a TV star, a Fire Eater, a Pixie, the world's oldest student and a load of industrial strength nutters.

Thank you Carol and Eddie, Brian and Dinah for a fabulous weekend!

It was a lovely surprise to have the welcome pack that you had gathered for us relating to the wonderful Chester sites and cycle rides
Dont know how you managed to get such wonderful weather and site situation ...me thinks you have inside info LOLOL xxx

Book us for next year please :BigGrin::BigGrin:

Brilliant meeting up with old friends and meeting new funsters

ps thanx Steve for the lend of your belt :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:It helped me to dance without having to hoist my trews up continually..lololol

Thank goodness I chose (reluctantly) not to visit on the Friday night... I would never have left seeing all the fun that happened...

Instead I was a good boy... did a bit of work and saved some coins so I can go to the RW Meet in Alcester/Stratford...:thumb: :thumb:
