carioca 656 2006
We have a Ci Carioca 656 and have found out that the cab heating doesn't work, it only blows cold air! 🥶 we had a quick look under the dash and it doesn't look like there is any heater matrix, fittings, pipes etc for it?! Is that normal? How do we fix this please?

No that's not normal, I think all vehicles made after the 1960's have had heaters as standard.
Prior to that they were an option on some vehicles, imagine that 😮
What is the base vehicle ?
You should be able to see two hoses going through the bulkhead to the heater matrix, if they're not there is there any evidence they've been removed ?
Are there heating controls on the dash ?

Hi there and welcome,
Good advice from Figaro , follow the heater controls, as it sounds as if the matrix has been removed.
Forgive my interruption, but what would be the reason for removing a heater matrix?
Broken perhaps, or some other form of modification for very warm climates?

If it is anything like the one we had they probably took it out to increase the payload

I would see if I could compare it with another motorhome of the same ilk to see if it's missing or just not where you expect it to be.

As far as I know it's not something the converter would remove/relocate though
