Can anyone tell me where on the site my card details are held for the annual subscription?
 
I didn't think they were. Did you pay via paypal and set up a yearly recurring payment?

If you go to your name and avatar along the top bar then go to your account-subscriptions in the drop down.
It does not give card details but gives you details about paying and where to pay.
I don’t think there are saved details?😊
 
Found earlier today I had reverted to a free member indicating my subscription had run out. I had to reenter all the card details so presumably not stored. I think I used to get a reminder but not this time. At my age longer term subscriptions may not be a good bargain

This year my sub renewed automatically. I need to find out how that happened. It's not via Paypal as I have checked. I've recently had my card details stolen .. twice! Old Barclaycard & 2 months later, new Barclaycard. (PIN not used). I'm an IT tech & fairly convinced it's from a website hack. So I'm going through all websites & removing my card details or changing to Paypal.

Did you buy perhaps an extended membership ie. Three, five years? As that will automatically renew until it runs out🤔
 
If you send me your card details and your mother's maiden name, I will store your details safely ....
 
The card details are stored locally, they are held secure on stripes servers.

When subscribing there would probably be an option to auto renew and that would re charge your card, each year.

BUT as you say, your cards were stolen then this couldnt have charged if the card or card numbers have changed. Did you use a card here that DIDNT get stolen or been changed maybe.

We usually have one card with a low credit limit that we use for online and telephone purchases just in case but the verification process has become so unreliable and a hassle that we often end up using our general one

I'd really like to see where my card details are. At the momeent, I don't trust any website to hold my details. I may be on auto renew, but where are my card details & how do I change them? I've just signed up with Revolut, so I have a disposable card for websites.

It was my main card that the details got stolen. This is stored on 11 websites, plus Mobilefun. The other websites are such as Microsoft, Amazon & Adobe - unlikely to be hacked. I beleive that websites, particularly forums are almost certainly to be hacked.

I don't understand why I can't view & change my card details?

I believe Jim cancelled some repeated payments when he finally changed subscription from £15 to £20?

Got to love people that require an instant response even at weekends. So sorry to have kept you waiting. :D

You don't have a standing order with us. We don't hold any card details at all. When you paid us on May 22nd via Stripe for one years subs, that was not a recurring transaction, it was not an automatic transaction. You made it, you clicked the "extend" button; it will not renew next year unless you physically renew it. (y) Popping back to bed now.
