Should I join when I get my motorhome? I’m told it will pay for itself by way of insurance discounts alone, thoughts please.
Cheers
Steve

It might, but by joining the Caravan and Motorhome Club and the Camping and Caravan club, you'll get access to around 5000 campsites (y) 90% of which are small 5 van sites which for me at least, if you are going to stay on a site, are much better than the big commercial sites.

This club is a paid club and will get you the insurance discount. We get 25 quid off 👍
Insurance is very strange, I got 50 quid off my motorcycle insurance by joining a free bike forum. I did it while I was on the phone with the broker, he took my word for it as well.

Any of the "clubs", offer various discounts and incentives, ranging from Ferry crossing to deals on Insurance and recovery. As always the caveat, read the small print!. The biggest advantage IMV, is, as Jim said, the C-L and C-S 5`van sites, Relatively, cheap often with Electric/Hardstanding. If that is your Bag. (y). Enjoy, (y)

I think it's worth it for the CS 5 van sites to join CCC as you also get the Temporary Holiday Sites (THS) and rallies (DA meets) for even cheaper camping with like minded people. We've been members for 25 years now and from our next renewal we'll only have to pay £20 a year!
