Can’t think why I would ever contact them TBH but site wardens now that’s another subject , but I do find they are much improved over the last decade or so, either that or I am becoming more used to them 🤔😁

Currently on the CAMC site at Cheddar and consider the wardens here the mostly friendly I have come accross. We have had crappy weather and a lot of the pitches were flooded a couple of days ago, However even when it was lashing it down the wardens were out with a submersible pump trying to keep our pitches accessible.

Having recently visited Scotland I must say even though expensive the C&MC site at Edinburgh is probably the Best site we have stopped at 👍👍👍

CAMC customer service always served me good .
This year they sorted ferry to Roscoff at best price 👍
Also this year travellers arrived at site and we all left with Full refunds 👍
Great service 👏
Down side, pitch prices going up!
Refurb to site at Totnes Paignton, used to b all non electric now electric pitches but for this time of year now £38 per nite!!!

Been using them for 50 years caravan (a lot ) then mh (much less). Only come across 2 or 3 iffy wardens in that time.

What context was your question aimed at, Head Office, sites or services

Bit odd to ask such a question them immediately log out and not look back in 🤔

We always tend to use their sites as we know what to expect . We have never had an issue and always found the wardens very friendly and accommodating. Facility blocks always clean even though sum are starting to look a little dated . The grass and grounds are mostly always well tendered and the bin areas are emptied on a regular basis . Some have small shops run by the wardens and these are always fairly priced. My only complaint is the site fees are getting very expensive.

Only going because of the one free night, so £33 for two nights, like it should be

Same here, Chester Fairoaks am going in Nov £36 a night , going for two cos got one night free 👍 so £18 pn.

3 years 30,000 miles UK and Europe.. Campsites and off Grid.
Had good service on the phone last week when I wanted to change to a different site last minute.

Two sites we have been on this week the wardens have been really friendly and helpful.
And I agree, one free night makes the prices about right. I've had 4 nights this week at 16.50 a night.

More than toes wet now!
Lots of threads on Funster about how good the camp staff can be and plenty about the crap Management 🙀
But management is different from the staff who answer calls to hq!
They are as good as the best out there and much better than most!

Agreed, I think the call centre staff understand what customer services is but management ignore complaints and will not acknowledge that their pricing and expectation that all Motorhomers know weeks in advance of their plans, is contrary to what many Motorhomers may want and need.
Dynamic pricing, set up by Management, penalises those MH’s who like to travel without a itinerary.

Agreed their strategic business plan may not meet the needs of all motorhomers however that's not the question being asked in this thread.

I think we agree on the quality of customer service being provided but their business strategy could do with a rethink.

Since 2016 and caravanning before that
I had a text offering a free night due to not having used one of their sites for eighteen months. Booked on line but the payment wouldn't work so called them and it was sorted quickly and efficiently. Very happy though the prices ....ouch!

I understand why you might consider that expensive. Personally, having spent over 800 nights in a Travelodge at my own expense between 2010 and 2020, £33 for the price of a night where you don't have to worry about what might gave caused the numerous stains on the carpet, seems like a bargain to me!

Why stay in a Travel Lodge then, perhaps after the first stain experience look elsewhere?
Why? Because it was for work and I had to pay. My point is; I would be paying on average anywhere between £45 and £80 per night, in conditions that were, let's say, not quite as clean and as comfortable as my home environment (or my motorhome). £33 for a clubsite, which I have always found to be immaculate, with very clean shower and toilet facilities and the comfort and cleanliness of our MH, still seems to me to be a reasonable price.

We're there now. I'm going to ask them to send a delegation to Edinburgh airport later, it's rather noisy - then we can judge just how good their customer relations is. 😆 in fact, the 06.50 has just blasted off to Malaga.

Sorry but the reason I didn't Quote the Air Traffic noise was because it didn't bother us & to be honest didn't notice much of it.
