Need Car insurance, please any comments about AGEAS car insurance?
Thanks

Try LV we was very satisfied with the outcome having my premium double buy caravan Motorhome club

Just renewed with Comfort Insurance. Continued excellent service and they even reduced the premium by £150 to £690.

This year I renewed our i10 with Tesco. Most competitive quote. Called them yesterday to advise of the Unibrake system that has been fitted. No problem. That’s on our list of agreed modifications, no extra to pay.

They are underwritten by Axa. We’ve had a car insured with them in the past. No clain made though. Reviews are good so if the price is good I’d go for it.

Our last motorhome insurance was underwritten by ageas but we never needed to claim so no idea how good they are. I looked at the time and they were no better or worse than reviews for any other insurance co they all seem to get very low scores as the only people who bother to review are generally unhappy ones!

Not had to claim for years so can't say how 'good' they are, however I've just insured our 2018 Smart ForFour with 'QuoteMeHappy' (Aviva) via TopCashBack compare for £162.50 fully compe, protected NCD and 4,000 miles, £150 excess although I could've got £0 excess for another £19. Best bet there's £45 cashback from TCB too!

PS: if you're not a member of TCB let me know and I can refer you and we both get some dosh.

Thank you. Got insurance with Tesco. If ok I will take your kind offer next year.

You can join TCB anyway, there's loads of stuff you can get via them and get cashback.

I find Quidco cashback tracks better if you’re using an ipad with certain sites. Not sure about the car insurance ones but I’ve given up on Topcasback(TCB) for M&S and Booking.com.

Hi is there a link for TCB please
I've just sent you it via direct messaging along with one for Quidco too.

I find them both the same but I use Android (phone & tablet) and Microsoft (laptop & PC).

We used them for years to cover towcars and motorhomes. Fortunately, never had any claims so cannot comment on claims process but they always came across as very professional. The broker we used was the Caravan Club who were also very good. When we owned our first Morelo they gave us an amazingly cheap deal which we had for a few years. On changing to our next Morelo they wanted something like the price of the annual policy for 6 weeks cover. For one reason and another I paid the amount but was also informed that they would not offer a renewal quote. To my suprise a few weeks later a renewal letter arrived with a renewal premium very similar to the last annual cover and less than I had paid for the 6 weeks of cover. I renewed and continued with cover with them for a few years. On changing to my third Morelo I think the penny dropped that something was not right, no idea what as the schedule of insurance was always correct and accurate, I checked every last detail. But on asking for price to change the operative clearly found something not correct, I could tell by her tone, then placed on a long hold. When she came back she advised they would not quote for my new vehicle and would not offer a renewal on current cover. That was the end of whatever it was but the premiums were always around the £500 mark. No idea what happened but great whilst it lasted.
