I have a 5m PVC in addition to my car. I’m trying to buy insurance for the car and getting quotes from comparison sites. One of the questions is do I have another vehicle, and has to be specified as a van or a car. Which is it do you think? I’m getting dearer results from the van answer.

Comparison sites just contain those companies that pay to get included on them. Deal directly with the ins. company. I must admit I always phone for quotes - it avoids omitting facts that the company can use to deny a claim ....... cynicial...moi :giggler: :giggler: :giggler:

Just try Lv you get a discount for the second vehicle.
Yes, that's just happened to me. I was dreading owning up about having a £50k+ camper IN ADDITION to my car.
Good for you, said the LV man, that brings your premium down £60. I asked him why.
Having two vehicles lessens the chance of a single one being stolen. In other words, the toe-rags have a choice of which one to nick!

I put van.

Doesn't seem to make much difference.

Van is still with a different insurer.
