Car insurance cost down, van ?

Martin Lewis last night, car insurance cost down 18%.
Is van ( pvc ) insurance also cheaper?
Have been happy with Brentacre (broker)for last 4 years.
Up for renewal in June but thinking of checking 26 days beforehand, perhaps on meerkat or similar.
OR, any recommendations please.

My renewal generally turns up about 23 days before renewal date from LV which gives me plenty of time to shop around if not happy, but so far their renewal prices have been very acceptable.

Yes, Martin Lewis was saying 26 days was the "sweet spot" and also said although insurance quotes may well be less, it could be that that your ins company will be quoting higher than necessary; loyalty factor.
His advice was, shop around just before your quote is due.
Going to try that.
