Canterbury P&R - places

For a one-way that price is about right, especially if you leave booking very late.

Citie Europ is just a large free carpark with no facilities although, as posted, there are facilities close by. We never bother as we can always find what we need on our travels. To find the parking, just follow the coach park signs, it's the next one across (but can't be accessed from the coach park).

Just a note of caution, there have been instances of illegals trying to get access to m/homes, not to thieve but get a ride to the UK. Make sure if you leave your van that it is secure and check it carefully, including underneath and under bike covers, that nobody has got in/on/under. Although it is indeed overlooked by the police station the gendarmes don't look out of those windows much.

That said, we always use the place out and inbound.

Thanks and I’ve noted your comments. We’ve only booked one way as we’re meeting our daughter in Belgium and are not sure exactly when we’re returning. We’ll be returning together but at this time we’re not even sure if it will be tunnel or ferry - so just happy to book one way at the moment.
I get a bit worried about web sites that offer significantly reduced prices over the official web sites - what’s the catch??? But it all looks good and reviews are spot on so we’ll see how we go and will report back.

If it's anything like the ferry we booked for earlier this year they got the journeys round the wrong way and ended up costing us an extra £80 to change on the day at Dover!

I should have noticed when the e-mail came through but unfortunately didn't. Definitely won't be using them again! Will stick to using the official websites.
