HI just found this site and thought I'd join to read about what RV things are going on over seas.

Hiya and a Great Big welcome to the Fun Site.

How's things over there?

Always fancied a 5th Wheeler ourselves.:thumb::Cool:

Crikey....You're right.

We still fancy a 5th wheeler though.:Cool:

hello all and thanks for the warm welcome, just out this week with family camping out in sherkston beach just outside of niagara falls, it's our seasonal site.

I'll post a few pics later this week when I get home.

Again thanks

I can never get my head round this, just what is the difference between a big caravan and a fifth wheeler ?

over here a big caravan is a travel trailer, has it's own hitch and attaches to the bumper of a truck/vehicle. 5th wheel attaches inside the box of a pickup, can not be towed by a car, must be a truck. The attachment sits inside the box of a pick up, like a tractor trailer truck attachment.

What I was asking, badly, is why buy a 5th wheel as opposed to a caravan. To me they are essentially the same thing.

Not that I want either ATM, I'm happy with a little MH.
