Can you camp on Vesuvius ? Or is it etna ?

Are you asking about tent camping or van parking overnight?
Also 2 totally different volcanoes. Both in Italy though!
We van stopped overnight in a parking place near the top of Vesuvius, creepy feeling all that potential destructive power underneath us!
