Not sure where to put this so stuck it on here..!!

I have a very old "Motorola RAZ 9"............ It goes through batteries like no tomorrow, it must be 20 odd years old and I love it, but getting fed up of trying to source new batteries... it has a, I think "NANO" sim card in it with my original number from 20 odd years ago... and I am on "02 pay as you go, which suits me, I top up and never get a reminder till I am out of credit which could be 12 months down the line or more..

Now........... My beloved wife bought me a new "Easyphone- Alcatel- MK Smart 1" with 1 month tarriff with Vodaphone.... so I have to pay £10 a month if I use it or not, and if I don`t top up I get nothing, accept 999 calls..

Can I swop my sim card over to the new one from my old one thus being with 02, which suits me down to the ground for what use I get, I have all the inserts to go from big sim to little or other way round...

But will my OLD number work in the new phone on 02,....

:thanks3:

Don't see any reason why not Auld Yin. I've transferred the same number from a number of "replaced" mobiles.
That's assuming that it physically fits. If it doesn't O2 will probably swap it for the correct size.

If your old SIM is 20 years old, then it is quite likely one which is too big.

New SIMs are made like a jig-saw puzzle and you can alter the size, but older ones were not.

There are far better deals than £10 a month rolling contract.

The one I was on with the new phone was a minimum £10 month or you lose it if you did not make calls or texts.... So hat to throw away "10 a month for 6 months.. :madder:

My old one with 02 was any thing over £10 quid and you only have to top up when getting empty... so I have had £22 quid on 02 for over a year.. and it is still working and there ..win, win for me.. (y)

Looks like the same deal I've got for my back-up / second sim in my mobi.(y)

O2 no longer do this but you can pick up one of their sims with this plan from 3rd parties on ebay.

My wife uses 1pMobile who in turn use EE, she pays £10 quarterly and never had a problem. Sim card queries have already covered by other posts.
