Can I run a spur from a 12v socket?

Hi I Want to wire in a Maxxair fan and my nearest live is either a 12v socket or a bedside led light which I will put a fuse in the line.
The 12v socket is only used for an Avtex tv is this doable please.

Without knowing how many amps the fan draws and the TV it's not possible to say. The wire that's in place might be a bit thin.

Should be OK, can't see a fan using more than 2 or 3 amps. The socket will already be fused so just wire it in parallel

You will be fine. Most 12v sockets are set up with 10amps (Red fuses) .

Piggyback off one or as above ..In parallel ...it will be ok.
