Can I override my E&P jacks so they will only lower when I input a code?

Our E&P jacks retract (i.e. raise) if I start the engine (though I manually click on the screen to raise them when I turn the ignition on as that's how you're meant to to it I think).

My question is, can I override this so they stay up? i.e. they can only be raised via the remote module once you've inputted a code? I'm thinking it could be a useful extra layer of security. I suspect the auto-raising when you start it is a safety feature as you might have a drive wheel touching the floor once levelled, but we always lift ours higher so it's fully on the jacks to remove any movement if it's partly on the suspension).

Thoughts?

I’m happy with as many wheels touching the ground as poss as long as I’m level, if you’re level on all 4 legs firmly on the ground, you shouldn’t move any suspension if any wheels are touching the floor.
I find I get more rocking the higher the van is on the legs🤔👍

Our E&P system was fitted by SAP and is set up to be able to turn on the ignition and run the engine as long as the handbrake is on, if I then release the handbrake, then the jack will raise.
If the jacuks are not raised by the controller or remote, then this is likely to result in the system locking up and needing to be reset by removing the fuse next to the pump for 30 seconds before replacing it.

I don't understand why anything happens when you start the engine. Starting the engine should allow you to use the remote to do what you like with them. There is a built in function which will kick-in in an emergency such a flat battery in your remote control. To raise the legs when your remote fails for any reason, start the engine and disengage the handbrake, this should raise the hydraulic legs automatically so that you can drive away.
We've had ours for 7 years and wouldn't be without them. We use them even if the van is level so that there's no bounce when you walk around and makes the van rock steady even in the strongest gale. We don't use our van in the winter and use our levellers to take much of weight off the tyres to prevent flat spots and cracking. (y)

I have the E&P jacks and would say 1. It's safer with at least 2 wheels on the ground. 2. Any wheels that are off the ground could be stolen quite easily. 3. Its a safety feature that the jacks will retract automatically if the engine is started, if you do not have a manual handbrake (as in my case) for obvious reasons it would be a bit of a disaster trying to drive off with the jacks down and the driven wheels in contact with the ground.

As per above, also fitted by Mick at SAP, only retract once hand brake is released. Not when engine started.

I have not tried lowering them with the hand brake off, but guess they would not?

They are not really much of a security aid?

Sorry, you're right - it's when the handbrake is disengaged. I thought I'd ask as it feels like an opportunity to make it a security aid - I guess the safety concerns override the idea. Thanks for the replies.
